PEER Training is the largest employer of apprentices within the Building and Construction industry in South Australia (with over 400 apprentices and trainees!) With such a large workforce, their energy consumption was considerable, prompting the need for a sustainable solution.
Wescombe Electrical collaborated closely with PEER's team to custom-design a 100kW solar system to curtail energy costs and promote sustainability. The system not only addressed their extensive energy needs but also significantly reduced their reliance on conventional electricity. This transition to solar power aligned with PEER's commitment to sustainability and resource efficiency (and had a positive impact on their operational costs!)
This installation not only signifies a shift towards cleaner energy but also cements a lasting partnership focused on shaping a greener and more sustainable future.
Fun fact: All of our apprentices complete their training through PEER ... and Chase (our Director) even did his apprenticeship with them 20 years ago!
